welcome to provident fund of workers in the
construction industry and related sectors in cyprus
Message of the committee

The Provident Fund of Workers in the Construction Industry was established in 1968 and is one of the largest provident funds in Cyprus with thousands of members. Since its establishment, the Fund provides supplementary pension benefits to workers in the construction industry. Based on the principles of its founders and under its role as an institution for second pillar pension provision, it aims to support its members to maintain a decent standard of living and quality of life after retirement.

The Fund is synonymous with the history of Cyprus with a long and remarkable past. Despite the difficulties over the years, it is highly valued and appreciated by the workers in the construction industry. The Fund has become more resilient over the years and following the recent changes in legislation in 2020 providing for, amongst others, legal certainty regarding the mandatory payments of contributions into the Fund, the outlook is positive.
